The new AP poll is out and Ohio State is still ranked number one. They received 59 first-place votes. As usual there are a couple surprises this week. First, Miami has dropped completely out of the top 25. This week’s top 25 has two new teams. Clemson, fresh off their victory over Florida State, has been vaulted from 26th place to 19th. Boise State also crept into the AP poll at number 25.

Despite getting blown out by Michigan, voters just can’t seem to put down Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish dropped from their number two spot, but are still reasonably high at number 12. Auburn, which was number three last week, it is now ranked second. USC and West Virginia also moved up one spot. One of the bigger jumps came from Michigan. They were ranked 11th last week, but the impressive win at Notre Dame has vaulted them to sixth place.
