Tennessee quarterback, Jim Bob Cooter, was suspended indefinitely Monday. Campus police arrested Jim Bob Cooter on a drunken-driving charge. While Cooter was technically suspended for an undisclosed period of time, it’s unlikely that good ol’ Jim Bob will see any action in a Tennessee uniform—perhaps in Jail he will. He will apparently be given the opportunity to return in the future, but it’s his last year of eligibility and he’s not an asset to the team so perhaps the writing is on the wall.

When asked about the incident, Coach Philip Fulmer replied, “Jim Bob has let the team down and embarrassed himself and his family by his actions. He has benefited greatly by being art of the Tennessee family, and with that comes great responsibility for his actions.” It should be no surprise that someone named “Jim Bob” has been arrested for drinking and driving.

Jim Bob Cooter did not throw one pass in 2005 and made pretty much no real appearance in any seasons previous to last year. His 2006 season figured to be just as lackluster. He has already earned his bachelor’s degree. In a slow period of college football betting news, Jim Bob Cooter managed to grab the limelight—congrats.
