USC Quarterback, Mark Sanchez, was cleared of sexual assault yesterday when Los Angeles County Prosecutors decided not to charge him. LA District Attorney, Richard Tacklander, said there was “a lack of sufficient evidence beyond a reasonable doubt.” The Sanchez story is just one of many that has plagued the USC program since their untimely defeat earlier this year.

While the USC program still has issues to confront, it appears that this will be one less issue on their load. When asked about the decision, Sanchez said, “I am grateful to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s offices and the LAPD detectives for their diligence in pursuing the truth and taking the time necessary to make the right decision.”
