It’s never too early to start positioning colleges for the upcoming football season. Everywhere you look someone has his or her prediction of the top 25 schools for the 2006 NCAA football season, so here is mine. I am not going to dive deep into discussion on each one, but you will be able to see how I think these teams are going to end up stacking.

Having looked around the NCAA football analysts world, I can see that many analysts are on Ohio State as a contender for the national title. Notre Dame is a favorite to contend as well, but I am cutting through the hype and hoopla of this media darling. Oklahoma is a force to be reckoned with. Any one of these teams could surprise and the top teams must remain focuses otherwise they will be a prime upset target.
